The Small New York Subway Sign or Bus Scroll.
Inspired by my visits to Manhattan, this New York Subway Sign is the small version of my larger best-selling design. It highlights favorite New York neighborhoods, including: SOHO, Chelsea, Greenwich Village and Tribeca – among others. Subway Art makes for a stylish wall hanging with retro typography and industrial appeal; a modern piece of wall art for almost any décor. (12 x 36)
Transit Design bus scrolls are handmade and printed on canvas or wood with fade resistant archival ink. Slightly aged for a vintage look (see photos).

Subway Signs (also called bus scrolls, tram scrolls, or roll signs) were historically used on public transit lines to list the stops along a route. Collectors began acquiring original transit signs for their vintage appeal and retro typography. My designs are inspired by original subway art and can be personalized with your own destinations to make custom art for your home, office, apartment or loft.
