See America: Art With a History. During the Great Depression, federal arts programs put artists and designers to work creating posters that promoted travel, national parks, public programs and American culture. The “See America” series grew from that era of public art, using bold typography, simplified forms and striking color to encourage Americans to explore the country.

These posters have long appealed to me as a graphic designer and lover of vintage art. I personally color-correct and restore each design for reproduction while preserving some of the small imperfections and signs of age that give the original artwork its character.
