Vintage Travel Posters

I started making travel posters using photographs I took on my own travels, turning them into vintage-style designs inspired by classic travel posters. My collection includes travel art from across the U.S. and Europe, along with reproductions of classic WPA and National Park posters. For more original artwork, explore my Posters & Prints.

Vintage Travel Posters from My Own Photography

I’ve always loved old travel posters and the way they can sum up a place in a single image. Many of my original designs begin with a photograph from my personal travels. I rework the image, combining photography, illustration, and typography to make a poster that feels both familiar and a little nostalgic. From New York and Paris to Michigan, Hawaii, and the California coast, the places themselves are the starting point.

Retro Travel Art & Classic National Parks

The collection also includes reproductions of Works Progress Administration (WPA) travel and National Park posters from the 1930s and 1940s. I love them for many of the same reasons I love old travel posters: simple compositions, strong typography, and a graphic style that still works decades later. If one of these posters happens to remind you of a trip of your own, even better.
